Looking to get schooled on some classsics? Check "Elevator to the Gallows", or the legit title, "Ascenseur pour L'Echafaud". You got amazing location shooting of Paris in '58, tons of smoking, French girls with short haircuts and MD on the soundtrack. Recognize.

yes! i saw that a few years ago at a film fest. so good.
Took in Romero's Dawn of the Dead...B movie bliss. Something like a heady french flick. I was handing out candy in the hood trying to scare the shit out of myself. Definately more silly than scary, with some profound words being drop by the dudes with machine guns...
Example "My grandad used to say that when hell was full the dead would walk the earth."
Nice. Think NY Yankees or Bush cabinet.
