In 2004 the Beastie Boys tested what I believed to be a given....if they took a poo in a cup and pressed record, it would be good. Fortunately Green Lantern's 2006 remix New York State of Mind helped us forget the failings of To the 5 Boroughs. That aside, the Boys are back in 2007 with the Mix-Up. They drop the sustainable flow on Off the Grid.
If I could make music, this is what it would sound like. Lazy and hazy funk. PS...Check Mike's fro!
