There is little dead weight here. Hunger is earth shattering and Andrea Arnold's films should not be missed.

I love films. Sadly, making the time to watch them can be a struggle. Silly graduate school has this wanna be cinephile scrambling.

Alas, here is my April list of flicks viewed.

Sin Nombre (Gangs), Downhill Racer (Mountains), Adventureland (Stoners), The Hunger (Vampires), Le Samourai (Hitman), and Old Joy (Ambiguously Gay Duo).

And, the chandelier is broken! Poor Kobe.

March Movie Madness, Panda Bear

My 2011 films watched list continues to grow steadily despite an indecent amount of basketball on the brain.



There are some gems here featuring murder, sex, mayhem, fast cars, epic villains, trailer trash, and high art. I emplore you to check in with your public library and see what they are holding.

I continue to update My Films Viewed in 2011 List over at Mubi.com. The torrent pace ofJanuary cooled considerably in February but has a decidedly Hong Kong flavor. I have included links to my favorites.
