First Basket

Enjoy this trailer from the forthcoming documentary about the orgins of hoops in the Jewish neighborhoods of New York. The soundtrack will make the most fickle heads bounce. It features a 15 person ensemble directed by Cuba's Roberto Juan Rodriguez. With tracks entitled Red Auerbach and The Holyland Dribble, how could you go wrong.



For the record APT is not a basketball site. Nor is it a Jewish site. It just feels that way. Respect the game and our chutzpah.

The Maine Red Claws?

As has been previously stated at APT and one or two other spots, Portland Maine is getting an NBA Developmental League franchise. Roomie is certain that the future ballers of Portland are as good as on his couch chillin with SB 1200 sippin' on a "Sarah's Loaded Cervasa".
