I'm surprised they aren't wearing black face... This is so messed up, it makes me want to punch these guys in the face. I've never heard of these guys and I hope that is true for most people, and I hope it stays that way. There are however, 1,850 comments on youtube below this clip.
Let's play something good to cleanse ourselves:
Enjoy!

I just saw these chumps the other night on MTV...if this is all it takes, we should be kicking ourselves for not getting up there ourselves...
Ok, so most of the stuff that is out right now is total crap, but how different is that from any other time in popular music history? Sure, there was David Bowie but there was also Bread. The key is to find the diamonds in the rough...
So, here are Rommie's gems of the sugary sweet pop of today
this (homegirl is gonna sell about 4 billion of this single)
this (some old school Motown vocal harmonies going on in this joint...plus the mid-tempo drums are killin as well)
this (the lyrics are pretty bad some points...but the hook is on and the beat is electro-tastic)
and this (this vid is direct rip off of The White Stripes "Seven Nation Army"...with all the passing through shapes and such...but everyone loves a cockney accent and solid march beat that even basic amoeba can keep time too...W2, I'm looking in your direction)
As for the recent post about Rock Band, as always, APT is in direct support of ANY and ALL means of getting the music to the people. Train, plane, video game...its all good.
And...for you comic book kooks...W2 and El...question...is this HOT or NOT. Missy's new crew...
Good damn Roomie you got made game. Post some shit. Take the world by storm. Kick us the fuck off your site. You the man.
PS that is some corporate bullshit making fun of corporate bullshit. Manufactured. Silly.
PS The Tings TIngs joint is cool. A little Debbie Harry and a little bit of funk.
I love comics, and the conception works but that candy is too sweet for these lips.
I am all for candy. No doubt, see Gwen Stefani, Britney's toxic, et. al. I take it you are an American Idol fan then? Clay Aiken perhaps? That adds to the detritus of the music world, no skin off my back stuff like Guitar Hero online store and Idol (except when my wife was into idol for a while and I had no choice but to watch). I have a problem with video game manufacturers taking advantage of these plugged into the matrix kids and selling them shit (mother hips excluded of course:) and them not knowing any better. But I guess if you buy it they will sell it. Good music will always out in my opinion, it doesn't need video games and what not to get to the people, it just adds another layer of crud to the mix. Whatever though, I know if I was in a different stage of my life I would be rockin' guitar hero while my life went down in flames...see my ting tings post for some sugary pop (as W2 mentioned). It bothers me though when music is like advertising and they play on psychological tricks to induce emotions which work particularly well on pre-teens and teens (like the lyrics to that Miley Cyrus song). Ugh, I don't know I guess I have become the crothety old guy.
