My man Adam-ant-ium Claws is a devoted backpacker, climber, mountain biker, and snowboarder. He drops by APT to give us the down and dirty on Eastwood's rock climbing epic.


The Eiger Sanction...where else can you see Clint Eastwood in knickers? This right here is part 007 flick and part Baffin Mtn film festival. Eiger Sanction is classic 70's explotation with enough stereotyped beauties and politically incorrectness to please any Dirty Harry fan.

Leaving behind his tenure as prof of art to return to his first love, killing people for money and climbing, Dr. Hemlock ventures to the Swiss Alps to climb the Eiger and assassinate a member of his climbing team.



What makes this film really worth your while is Clint's authenticity. He does his own stunts and the climbing is first rate. Just don't worry about the plot holes.
