Mike was the man. Period.

Without getting too long-winded, yes the dude was out there, but I will never, I repeat never believe that he was malicious or a pedophile. That was just our ugly, idiotic media and societies hunger for said ugliness. Anyway here is more cool stuff. Don't know what the deal is with these videos but they sound great.

we'll miss you Mike!

Record Club Update

Here is Beck's latest take on the Velvet Underground. If you are not up on this project, get the dish here.

Record Club: Velvet Underground & Nico 'Waiting for My Man' from Beck Hansen on Vimeo.

Not to gush too much here, but the man just added a DJ feature titled Planned Obsolescence which should be dynamite.

And don't forget to take the APT challenge. Sound off about your favorite Michael memories below.

Thursday's draft party featured King Roomie Rock himself spinning many an MJ tune while Cross-Eyed Stu gushed about the NBA's newest Super Hero Team-Up...Shaq Fatty and LeBron. But is the Marvel Universe big enough? KG hopes not!

A Document of Fail

I don't know who's a fan of Lost out there, but I love it. And part of loving it comes the great satisfaction that there is a well written show still allowed to be produced and is able to maintain a modest amount of ratings that allows it to continue. I just hate when I get interested in a show that has the potential to push television to the next level and no one watches. Case in point: Arrested Development. There's always been rumors of a movie, but it looks like they're making a documentary about it first. Why anyone would watcha doc about a show they didn't see is beyond me, but at least I get a little satisifaction.

The Air Up There

This has disaster written all over it: M Night, based on anime, stars a kid. But seeing this trailer had me feeling that old Shyamalan magic was going to happen. Avatar: The Last Airbender is a show that my oldest loves to watch, and while I don't know the characters that well, it looks like the world they live in is pretty damn cool.
