This is the thing with Mike, you know where you were when you were listening to his stuff. Playground dance routine to PYT by four girls in the third grade. Blew my mind. In fact I have never been the same since. ANother, watched the whole Thriller movie video thing at my boy Jeff Furlone's house, right before his dad came home (state trooper) and yelled at use for using the stairs to loudly...note to young self...get slippers dude carries a weapon. That is the thing about Mike the memories seem so vivid.
Dude was weird, but the man could sing and dance and that is enough.
I hate to be the bummer here, but does anyone realize the last thing of significance Michael Jackson did was The Bartman?
Anyway, I'm glad he's resting now. That guy had some problems. And people never brought them up. I mean, his kids were white and no one ever said anything about that. WTF, mate???
I wanted that glove bad.
Tru, Mike was out there.
"Billie Jean" has a nasty backbeat.
That video with Naomi Campbell was pretty tight.
"State Of Shock" with Mick Jagger was originally set to be a duet with Freddie Mercury. Listen to them here...
OG
with Freddie.
Dope cut either way.
Incidentally...Michael blows them both out of the water.
i can't think of the countless times i've been on the dancefloor and heard "rock with you" and felt completely free and happy. it's THE best to have michael to dance to ... and we still do. i will also perk up on the dance floor when michael comes on. always.
