Champs

As something like a liberated fan, I couldn't help but find myself rooting for Kobe to put the ghost of Fat Shaq to bed and for Rhode Island alum Lamar Odom to get a ring.

Now, all basketball eyes turn to June 25th and the NBA Draft aka Christmas at APT. Pinestripe or plaid suit this year, Roomie?

There are bad days, there are worse days, there's the worst day ever, and then there's last night.

DO NOT FRONT. Kobe is TOTALLY unlikeable. Until last night. He is the best playing the game right now, no question.

The under bite bit is tough to swallow, but the dude was unguardable last night. Our boy Turk looked frustrated and lost (reminded me a bit of PP sadly).

Celts-Lakes next season for sure.

F. Kobe. I can't stand him. He is like A-Rod except he isn't on the Yankees so I don't have to convince myself that he is not a total jackass. I agree with the Drizzle.

The real question is...what happens if Kobe keeps winning rings? The idea that he is close to Jordan is laughable (despite my belief that he is the most complete player in the NBA currently...followed by LeBron and then CP3). But with the group that LA has...and if Bynum ever gets it, they should contend for the next four plaus years. That is a tough pill to swallow.

That's what people said after the Spurs won it five years ago or so (to lazy to look it up, the Detroit series). They had Manu, Parker, and Duncan wrapped up in contracts for YEARS! They were supposed to tear it up forever. And they did not. Even sadder, I predicted this at the beginning of the season. I hate when I'm right. I hate it so much.
