Tonight...Tiny Fires

Tiny Fires is something like a local Portland band. While they are not all Portlanders, this four piece rubs elbows with other great local musicians that are formed and shaped around Peapod Recordings.

They will grace the stage of the most secretive and (rumor has it) stunning performance space in our City. Find your way to 107 Hanover Street and look for signs of music, movement, and perhaps a small bird whispering the term Apohadion.

After a bit of digging, I was pleased to learn that one of the members is a great friend of mine from Portsmouth, NH who I have not seen in years. In fact my man is so famous he has a menu item named after him at THIS favorite APT eatery.

Five aMERICAN dOLLARS gets you through the door and you can bring your favorite beverage of choice. W2 and El Manicero hope to see you there!

APT crew was in effect and the show was most excellent. Relaxed and pleasant for a cold November evening.

While comparing and contrasting is both passe and unfair, the posse was unanimous (while TIny Fires was more ambitious) Plains stole our hearts and minds.
